Work performed on Contract Number FOSbOfc-TS-C-0029 has been reported in detail in a series of nine te'.lmjcal reports. This final report summarizes the material covered in each of the technical reports and discusses the conclusions obtained. The five tasks in the program were: • A preliminary evaluation of the Korean Seismic Research Station • The development of an optimum automatic seismic detector • The investigation of adaptive beamforming techniques and distributed signal models as applied to interfering seismic events • The development of a network magnitude bias model, and the investigation of various short-period seismic discriminants • The development and evaluation of an interactive graphics system for the PDP-15 computer to process seismic data, including data from the Seismic Research Observatories. 1 Neither the Advanced Research Projects Agency nor the Air Force Technical Applications Center will be responsible for information contained herein which has been supplied by other organizations or contractors, and this document is subject to later revision as may be necessary.
